Moet and Chandon Imperial
Production

Moet and Chandon uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Imperial blend is composed of 30-40% Pinot Noir, 30-40% Pinot Meunier and 20-30% Chardonnay. A combination of more than 100 different wines are used to create Moet and Chandon Imperial including up to 30% reserve wines. The dosagé is 9 grams/liter for this release. Moet and Chandon routinely ages their non-vintage champagne a minimum of 3 years on the lees, twice the legal aging requirement in Champagne. Moet and Chandon Imperial is typically ready to drink at release and good for 3 or more years.

Moet and Chandon Imperial is the celebrated flagship of the Moet and Chandon Champagne House.
