Aroma/bouquet: Pear, apple, caramel, brioche. Subtle minerality.
Palate: Lemon, apple, toasted almond, yeasty/brioche, ginger with mineral notes.
Additional comments: Nice autolysis. Well balanced. Very good quality price ratio. Some variation between releases.

Perrier Jouet Grand Brut
Production
Perrier Jouet uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Grand Brut is composed of 40% Pinot Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. The Chardonnay grapes are all from grand cru vineyards and the Pinot Noir are from grand and premier crus. The dosage is 10 grams per liter. Perrier Jouet Grand Brut is stored for three years in the House's cellars in Epernay.
