G.H. Mumm Rose'
Production

G.H. Mumm uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. Le Rose' is composed of 60% Pinot Noir, 22% Chardonnay and 18% Pinot Meunier. The blend includes 12% to 14% still red wine. The winemaking process includes malolactic fermentation. The wine ages 15 months on the lees. The current Chef de Cave, Didier Mariotti is working to lower the dosage in some Mumm Champagnes. The current dosage for the Mumm Le Rose' is 6 grams/liter.

A rose originally painted in watercolor by Japanese artist Leonard Foujita adorns the cap on top of the cork of the G.H. Mumm Rose'. G.H. Mumm was purchased by Pernod Ricard in 2005.
