Appearance: Pale yellow with fine steady bead.
Aroma/bouquet: Crisp apple, almond, honeysuckle, minerality with toasty notes beginning to emerge.
Palate: Lemon/lime, pear, flinty minerality, hints of ginger.

Louis Roederer Blanc de Blancs 2007
Production

Louis Roederer uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. Blanc de Blancs 2007 is composed of 100% Chardonnay grapes. 15% to 20% of wines are aged in oak barrels with weekly batonnage. This Blanc de Blancs is bottled at low pressure to preserve the elegance of the mousse. No Malolactic fermentation occurs.

Vintage Louis Roederer Blanc de Blancs are matured for an average of 5 years in cellars before disgorgement and the bottle rests in the cellars 6 months after disgorgement before release. The dosagé of between 8 and 10 grams/liter is adapted to each vintage.
