Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rose' 2002
Production

Taittinger uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Comtes de Champagne Rose' 2002 is composed of approximately 70% Pinot Noir from the Grand Crus of Montagne de Reims (including 12 to 15% still red wine) and 30% Chardonnay from the Grand Crus of Cote des Blancs. The blend is from first press only and no Pinot Meunier is used. Earlier vintages were from 100% Pinot Noir. Since 1995 Taittinger began including Chardonnay in the blend for their Prestige Comtes de Champagne Rose'.
